Just click the picture for all the details!!! I had several from my MOPs group and since we decided to do this a group craft, we typed them and put them in our binder. Once the tabs are complete, add your favorite recipes. You can use a Tab punch to make tabs! I absolutely love it because you can easily make tabs very quickly. I then created tabs to tape on the outside of the sheet protectors and used clear packing tape to laminate the tabs. Once I finished each page, I put them into a sheet protector to help protect them. Using Hobby Lobby’s paper crafting kit, I used up the embellishments to give each tab divider page a little extra something special. Then using a chalk paint pen, I added the text. You can see the labels I used here if you want to get some yourself. I just loved the buffalo check papers in the kit and thought I grab an extra one just in case.Īfter I had the papers laid out, I then add the text and used chalkboard labels I had on hand to give each tab divider a title. Note* I did buy a few extra sheets to create a back cover on my binder. ![]() After the pages were cut, I took the remains and coordinated them to opposite sheets to create a bar or band on the page. I took 5 sheets as the main sheets, plus another one as the front cover. Once I had the tabs and sections figured out I got to work. Of course, if you are making your own recipe binder, you can choose whatever tab dividers you want. I don’t have very many, but if you look all over Pinterest you might notice there are other recipes specific to Christmas. I chose a Christmas tab because there are some recipes we create in our family only at Christmas time. Breakfast, Entrees, Family Family (for side dishes) and Christmas. Using the look from the pages, I started with the cover look and then started creating tabs for the different sections I wanted in my book. In all of my crafting I have never picked up the little flyers in the craft stores that show you how the papers work together, but this time I did. ![]() I picked up a 3 ring binder and got to work coordinating the papers in the pack. I may just have to get another one and create some home decor etc. ![]() Update: You can also find this on Amazon – pricing may be different now, but it is worth a look. If you choose to purchase this it is SKU: 1674746. Plus the theme was on point with my decor style so I knew it was a win-win. So I snatched it right up knowing that I was going to make a lovely binder to place in my kitchen to house all of my favorite recipes! The pack was $8.99 not on sale, but with the 40% off coupon, you cannot beat the price. A scrapbook paper book is usually so much cheaper and usually in a nice collection of curated papers.īut on this particular day, I notice a pack of papers, letter stickers, and embellishments all in one kit, and I just fell in love it so much that I about fell on the floor. When and if I buy scrapbook paper, I usually buy a book of it.
